Topic: Powered by SMARTS: Program Management, Grant Management & Community Engagement

In the evolving landscape of coastal community resiliency, effective grant management plays a critical role in funding and implementing necessary infrastructure projects. The Town of Longboat Key partnered with Kimley-Horn to analyze a recurring flooding situation and identify solutions, which presented a need for administrative organization of grant funding as well as a way to communicate with property owners throughout the drainage and resilience effort. This presentation will discuss the innovative use of SMARTS, a cloud-based program management software, for improving grant management processes and enhancing community resiliency.
